After that you just squeeze the trigger.
Each squeeze momentarily activates the internal pump and it shoots a 10-foot stream of water and has a range of about 15 feet.

Well, that's summer sorted. This is a hugely fun, easy to use motorised water pistol that has a decent range, a high rate of continuous fire and the ability to mount a plastic water bottle as an ammo tank is just brilliant.
It takes a few minutes to set up, but it's time well spent as it looks great at the end and works as well as it looks good. Installing the battery is the trickiest part - however, once you get the knack, it becomes second nature - the trickiness is due to having to fit a waterproof cover (which I'm not really sure is waterproof as such - there are gaps all around it when installed - though the addition of a rubber band soon solved that for me)
Is it fun to play with once filled up though? - Oh. Yes. Worth the money? - Absolutely.

I didn't even know that electric water guns were a thing! But here we are. This thing is brilliant. I have 3 young boys and water fights can sometimes be a bit unfair due to the age differences. I'll be handing this electric water gun to the youngest so he can stand a chance during the fight. This thing is brilliant, and lightweight, and batteries are included.

This water gun is a nice change from the huge bulky brightly coloured ones from well known brands. It’s been done tastefully enough so as to not look like the real thing from a first glance (a bit of a pet hate for me, making toys that look like the real thing) but good enough not to look like a cheap ripoff. Once put together along with all the accessories in the box it’s quite striking.
Once you fill it up with water, hook up the battery and stow it away in its semi waterproof compartment (fine for the odd drop in the pool just don’t leave it there!) then only control is the trigger, pull it and you get a strong constant pulsing stream of water that is very impressive.
All in all a fantastic water gun for the enthusiasts among us

I've never heard of electric water guns before chancing upon this. The ones I had as a kid, and indeed the ones the youngling nephew is using are the simple, fill with water and pull the trigger jobs. This one is a level above!The gun appears flimsy on first glance, but in the hand, when building, and in use, it feel fairly solid and robust, so should survive diving rolls in the middle of a John Wick style water fight.The stream of water that shoots out seems consistent and steady, and, most importantly SO much fun to use.

I have heard of the electric water guns quite a bit recently so was happy to try one out in prep for summer- and I think the kids are going to love this one.Appears quite sturdy and well made, so I feel it will handle some back garden playtime in the summer months.Doesn’t take long to put together and with it being rechargeable I have hope that it will last a number of summers.The stream of water is really really good- kids are absolutely going to love this- adults wondering around the garden may not 🤣.I do think if you get one of them that you should get a pair as it wouldn’t be fair for the other player to have a non-electric water gun as it wouldn’t equal the quality of this one. Does then make it a touch more expensive with this one being over £40, but I do actually think it’s worth it for the quality of play you will get out of it.Overall we’ve been pleased and happy to recommend.
