   I ordered this as a gift for my niece and nephew. Having ordered a similar water gun for them recently, I thought it would be nice for them to have two, but to try out a different type.
   
   This appears to be a great childrens' gift and lots of fun!

   My six year old had a blast with this gun and I am ordering a second one to have even more fun having water gun fights. Unlike old style water guns that shoot streams, this type shoots short "bullet"-like burst of water. To refill, you simply dip the front of gun into a bowl or other such container of water. It will automatically sense that it is submerged and pump water inside to refill itself.

   So I was looking for a water gun for my 5 year old. Cause I refuse to pay $180 for a water gun for a kid lol.. this hidden gem is perfect!.. out the box, comes with 2 lithium batteries and a usb cable adapter to charge with. Eye wear and a small screw driver to open the batter case under the gun. This is worth the money.. think I paid $50 for it.. it auto fills the water , just submerge the gun tip into a bowl of water and it refills itself (about 25 seconds) .. it’s automatic as well, so u can just hold the trigger which my kid would love .. light weight , about 2lbs.. on a full tank, it shot over 40 sprays .. I stop counting after 40..

   Update: the seller of this was remarkable at working with me when the first product was defective. Within a few days of contacting me I had a properly functioning squirt gun delivered to my door and it works flawlessly! I’ve never had one so easy to fill. Just dip the tip into water and it fills itself! Definitely leads to a lot of fun! The water is accurate to around 20 to 25 feet and it’s a blast spraying my doggo with it while she runs around the back yard. She loves it as much as I do!
   
   Not sure if this is a defect or if it is poorly engineered. The moment you connect the battery the pump starts. It will fill but it will also continuously squirt water until empty. The trigger pull adds a click and a little extra power behind the squirt, but the fact that it will not stop squirting pretty much makes this unusable.

   • decent reservoir volume
   • no trigger finger fatigue
   • shoots the length of a pickup truck (~20 ft.) when aimed straight out
   • prompts children (and adults) to look up the meaning of "jocund"
   
   Battery life seems good, AND there are two of them! This is only handy, however, if you also have the battery door screwdriver with you, as the screw is the only thing holding the door shut. The charging cable is somewhat specific to the battery, so if it's lost or damaged the squirt gun becomes useless. This is the squirt gun's biggest weakness.
   
   If you're feeling jocund, though, and prepared to spend a fiddy on an electric water shooter, this is a good'un.

It holds a lot of water to keep you in the fight too. The only problem I see is the price, it's quite costly. Other than that I think it's great and that the only reason for the 4 stars.

   The automatic water absorption feature is a nice touch and makes reloading quicker and easier but it temperamental. Seems like there is a moisture sensor at the tip that activates the pump when it senses moisture but it not 100% reliable.
   
   Having need to take out the batteries and recharge them separately with the proprietary cable (one supplied) is a hustle that could be easily overcome with having it charge directly from a USB connection on the gun like in other brands
   
   Pros:
   
   Automatic water absorption feature for quick reloading
   Easy to use
   Fun
   
   Cons:
   
   Range is lower than indicated
   Charging hustle
   Refill sensor is temperamental
   
   Overall, while the Electric Water Gun with Automatic Water Absorption has some nice features like the automatic water absorption, the limited range and charging issues make it a bit disappointing. It is still a fun water gun but a different water gun may be a better option.

   I love everything about it! Charge and go, and it comes conveniently with 2 battery packs. Automatically fills with water just put the nozzle of the gun in bowl or bucket filled with water. Squeeze and hold trigger for automatic discharge for endless play or pull the trigger and let go. Easily hit moving targets from 25-30 ft. The next water gun fight is going to be epic!

   Writing this from me, a guy in my mid-30's who's still a kid at heart. I've been seeing these advertised a lot, so figured I'd finally try one.
   
   My observations:
   >Range is a tad optimistic, probably say more like 15-20ft, as much further and the "ball" of water has lost cohesion into more of a spread out mist. Good enough for squirting friends / dogs / cats at medium range, but it's no sniper
   >I know this is a kids toy, but I feel like they could have molded the thumb-hole stock just a little wider to let bigger hands use the thing more comfortably. I can still use it fine, but it could be a little more comfortable for returning fire at your kids (and to expand the market as a toy for grownups, too).
   >Mine leaks a little from the nozzle when pointed downwards. It doesn't leak when just sitting there so I can store it just fine, but I guess I'd expect a little better QC for the price.
   >Water intake is a really neat idea and seems to work well so far.
   >Conflicted on the battery being under a screw instead of some kind of quicker release / thumb screw. I'm sure it helps reduce the likelihood of kids messing the thing up / popping open, but it does seem like more hassle then it needs to be when the battery eventually discharges.
   
   Overall, happy with this little toy!

   All ages of children enjoy it. It really does shoot far. Two batteries are included, and it is rechargeable. The automatic electric feature of this water gun is one of the things I like best about it since it makes it simple to shoot water continually without having to pump the device. This function makes it ideal for children who might find it challenging to pump the gun themselves. The water gun is made of strong materials and has held up well even after numerous uses.
